Two Pence Blue, an exhibition that symbolises the exploration of each student’s artistic practice, which has been defined and created in the last three or four years. In preparation for the degree show, there has been a nostalgic buzz as the studio grows louder and busier, filled with pieces created throughout the year. We have reminisced about how far we have come as artists and people, from first establishing ourselves in Studio One to preparing for our final show in Studio Four.
Two Pence Blue is not only a celebration of the marks we are about to leave, but it is the start of something unknown, something unfinished, something still becoming.
A special thanks to the Arts Committee of the University of Reading. We are grateful to all contributors to the Degree Show Fundraising; without their generosity, the degree show and this publication would not have been possible. Further thanks go to the Fundraising Committee for their dedication to supporting both the publication and the degree show.
We also thank the exhibition committee and technicians for their help in organising and supporting the exhibitions. We would like to extend our thanks to Karen Kramer and Susanne Clausen for their support throughout the year.
Within the Department of Typography and Graphic Communication at the University of Reading, we would like to thank the design team with whom we worked to create this publication.
