Hi, I’m Cindy Richardson and I’m a Final Year Art student at University of Reading. I’m a multidisciplinary artist that focuses on film/video, sculpture and developing an interest in design. What drives my work is my lived experiences as a multicultural individual that has moved different countries and my faith. I previously used my practice to explore migration and identity, but I’m now transcending beyond the concept of movement to stillness; A concept I am exploring now. Bridging between art and design, I aim to bring a sense of playfulness in my works which I hope the audience would recognise. I believe that another way to experience stillness is in the connection to our inner child, and preserving what matters in this hustle culture we have normalised.
