Henry Luff

Fine art with integrated foundation

My name is Henry Luff, and I am a multimedia artist with a current focus on world building within artworks specifically with constructing Sci-Fi narratives that the viewer has to visually deduce. My aim is for narrative points to become clearer once a viewer has spent some time with a work, been in the space it inhabits, and paid attention to the smaller details of it.

My work consists mainly of three-dimensional pieces that make use of many different materials as well as other found items either as props or to make something new out of. Some of my pieces are also more two-dimensional or made/edited digitally. I don’t really limit myself to any one type of material or medium as I am interested in many different ways of working.

My pieces can work well individually but ultimately cumulate into larger scale works or instillations that I feel are more effective in their presentation.

Throughout my time studying at Reading I think that my art has greatly improved, becoming more ambitious, more experimental with materials, and generally producing outcomes that I feel happier with.
